iPhone iAd’s – Apple’s iAd Advertising Platform

iPhone 4G has created headlines recently with it’s issues with reception., on a lighter note, here is Steve Jobs explaining the benefits of the new advertising model within it’s mobile devices. Again we have moved forward with technology and the iPhone has become more powerful, Apple has now been able to improve it’s integration with advertising platforms allowing for smooth transition between iAd and the active application. iAd’s essentially allow the user to stay active within the App they are currently in whilst viewing a iAd of interest. iAd’s have already raised eyebrows with an estimated $60 million US allocated to iAd’s for the rest of the year. To put this into perspect this will account for around half of the total adspend on Mobile devices as a whole. This new advertising iAd platform is far more interactive and user driven than any digital advertising we have seen to date. We may even get some freebies!
